Kat Kiernan joined the Kaish Family Art Project as Associate Director in 2019. The former Director of Panopticon Gallery and Assistant Director of Louis K. Meisel Gallery, she brings extensive experience as a curator, writer, and arts administrator. In 2015, she received the Griffin Museum of Photography’s Rising Star Award for her contributions to the photographic community. Her writings have been published in journals and books including Agnieszka Sosnowska: Myth of a Woman (The National Museum of Iceland, 2019), and The Artist as Culture Producer: Living and Sustaining a Creative Life (Intellect, 2017). Kat holds a BFA in photography from Lesley University College of Art and Design and has exhibited her photographs across the United States. She lives in Brooklyn where she publishes the photography journal Don’t Take Pictures.
