Susan Fisher
Director
Susan Fisher joined the Kaish Family Art Project as Director in January 2024. An award-winning curator, Susan has served as the Director of Collections and Curatorial Affairs at the Brooklyn Museum, Executive Director of the Renee & Chaim Gross Foundation in New York City, and the inaugural Horace W. Goldsmith Associate Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Yale University Art Gallery. Susan's teaching includes seminars in 19th- and 20th-century art for the History of Art Department at Yale University and in Museum Studies at Fairfield University. She has also held fellowships at the Center for Curatorial Leadership, the Getty Leadership Institute, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Susan holds a PhD and MA in Art History from Yale University, where she currently serves as a mentor to undergraduates and graduate students as part of Yale's Cross Campus Mentorship Program.
